Happy summer to all and I hope this message finds everyone in good spirits.
One of my goals starting this summer is to update the website more often detailing some of what has been going on in my world. Hopefully it will provide some insight into my life that will prove valuable for those who are interested in knowing how things are with me. Also, I encourage everyone to comment and reach out with your feedback.
Many of you have asked about whether or not we have any upcoming events. We are targeting an event in the early spring. Please stay tuned for details and if anyone has any recommendations, please feel free to send me a note. I can always be reached by email at nearyk@gmail.com.
Related to visitors, I am still open to receiving company. I am grateful to all that feel comfortable enough to spend some of their time with me and I also understand if there are concerns about the current situation of healthcare in our modern society.
In closing, thank you all for showing an interest in my health and well-being. I am incredibly blessed to have so many people that care. It is certainly appreciated and something which I am fortunate to have. Best wishes to all and I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer.
I was one of the nurses who took care of you in the ICU in the days and weeks after your injury. I remember your father and brothers constantly by your side. So glad you’re doing so well! Makes it all worth it.
I’m grateful to you and everyone in the ICU that helped make the best out of an unfortunate incident. Thank you for your note and please stay in touch. This
Kev!! I’m looking forward to the updates. I live down in lower slower Delaware so Facebook is the best way to keep up with any updates. Thanks for sharing!! Bump!! ☺️☺️
Always wonderful to hear from you Angela! Hopefully see you sometime in the near future. Take care and thanks for your comment.
So good to hear from you Kevin. We have been busy with health issues. I do not drive anymore and depend on my walker to get around the house and Larry if I need transportation. . My son Larry has been living with us now for over a year. He was just diagnosed with multiple myleoma, which is cancer of the white blood cells in May He has had radiation therapy and on his 3rd chemo treatment. He gets a shot in the belly every week for 3 weeks and has one week off. It has been somewhat difficult but he has been back to work for 3 weeks, not missing a day and works in construction doing masonry in the hot weather. Been thinking about you and your health. How are you? I like reading your posts and many pictures. Please give your Dad a hug for me and of course a big hug for you. Please keep in touch. Hugs and prayersSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
I am sorry to hear the sad news. I wish you and the entire family the best. Let everyone know I will be thinking of them. Thanks for the update.
Kevin, Great to hear from you and glad your health has been good and you have been spared Covid. I spent 8 months of the pandemic teaching Pre Kindergarten and learned I am not as young as I used to be. I will try to stop by soon.
Please do stop by when you have the chance. It has been way too long.
Kevin
You could get a job doing something. Anything. Stop living off handouts. Customer service, Walmart greeter. McDonalds Drive thru. Stop being a victim and get a job.! Many people have challenges greater than you! And they work.
