Happy Thanksgiving from the Nearys! We are spending this Thanksgiving at the hospital, and we wanted to give you a brief update on Kevin’s condition and some information for those who’d like to visit him.

Kevin is currently fighting an infection that has been accompanied by bouts of disorientation. His condition has improved significantly over the past week or so, but he’s being monitored at Jefferson’s Neurological Hospital for the time being. We are not sure exactly when he will be coming home, but we’re hoping he can get back soon.

Kevin can have visitors, but only a few at a time, so there may be a bit of a wait. If you’d like to come, please read below for details.

Kevin is at the Jefferson Neurological Hospital (the old Wills Eye building at 9th and Walnut). If you’d like to visit, please check in at the front desk and let them know you’re here to see Kevin Neary. Kevin is currently on the 6th floor. Visiting hours go from 11 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The garage attached to the hospital is on 9th which runs one way north so you need to go south of Walnut to work your way back to it. The garage is immediately before the hospital entrance. They do validate but it is a little pricey to park during the week.

Irish Network Event – December 16th

We are also thrilled to share that the Irish Network of Philadelphia will once again be hosting an event that will benefit Kevin and help him fulfill his needs. The Christmas party will take place on December 16th at “The Philo” at Stotesbury Mansion from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
