Not much has changed over last few days. Kevin had a good day of rest yesterday. He had a slight fever, but the rest helped him get rid of that. He’s back to a normal temperature.
Now that the holidays are over, we should get a clearer picture of his surgery schedule and what’s next for Kevin over the next few days. We still think he will need an additional surgery to stabilize his neck. We don’t know when that will be, but we’ll keep you posted as things change.
Right now, Kevin’s got a good mustache going. His visitors think it looks pretty good, so he said we can keep it for a few days.
Joe (Kevin’s dad) should be at the hospital throughout the week, and Joe (Kevin’s brother) should be there frequently as well. Chris has headed back to DC for work, but will be back on the weekends. You can find us in the West ICU waiting room if you’d like to visit.
Hey guys – glad to see there were some good improvements over the holiday! I’ll be up in a couple of weeks to visit. Chris, if there’s anything I can help with now that you’re back in DC, just let me know!
The stache needs to stay till the end of Movember! Always good to see Kev in great spirits!
“Be strong and take heart, all you who Hope in the Lord”…..Like you said no news is Good News….The Great Physician is busy at work behind the scenes….You are all in our thoughts and prayers…Keep the Faith….

Hi. Its Angie from Medic 15. I’ve been following Kevin’s progress and I’m happy to hear he’s doing well. Please tell him I said hello and my thoughts and prayers are with him. I will continue to check on his progress.
I just wanted to let you all know that we are thinking of you and sending prayers. You are an amazing and resilient family with so much spirit and positive attitude and that will be of a great help to Kevin during this ordeal.
Thanks for keeping us up to date with Kevin’s status. Happy to hear that he’s in good spirits!
I don’t know Kevin or the family, but as an alumni, read about the story in the DP. My prayers are with you & your family.
